PlayFest Monthly Readings 06-07
All monthly readings are free of charge and are held at the John and Rita
Lowndes Shakespeare Center. Each play will be
announced about one month before the reading, if not sooner.

A Lost and Wayward Greek Play by Mac Wellman
Part of the PlayFest! - Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays Reading Series,
three time Obie Award winner including the 2003 Obie Award for Lifetime
Achievement, playwright and poet Mac Wellman takes you on a journey. On the eve
of an approaching hurricane, three Witches appear to stir up a cauldron of
trouble in the Oval Office, roof of The White House, and on the surface of a
distant moon.
Directed by David Lee, the reading features Beth Marshall (Producing
Artistic Director of The Orlando International Fringe Festival), Sam Stearn and
Melissa Mason
